The business students at Clymer Central School have been busy this year conducting projects to help those less fortunate. They teamed up with the American Red Cross to hold blood drives on October 6 and January 5; collected over 1,000 items for a food drive to support the ACAC (Area Christian Action Council) of Clymer for the holiday season; and most recently held a “Fun Night for Babies” to support the March of Dimes.

This most recent project took place in the Student Performance Center of Clymer Central School on February 9 from 7:00-10:00 p.m. for students in grades 4-8. Middle school students paid an admission fee and FBLA students provided a safe, fun place to socialize with their peers. Music was provided by DJ “Good Times” of Clymer. Students were able to play large group Twister and musical chairs, air hockey, basketball shootouts, Game Cube games, ping pong, Dance-Dance Revolution, and enjoy refreshments. Several parents and teachers volunteered as chaperones and everyone had a great time. A total of $111.75 was earned for the March of Dimes through this event.
